Since I was little my dream has been work in Africa, I like it, I want to be near wildlife and keep the species damaged by man.
That's why, first of all I have to specialize in exotic animals, travel to that continent, be accepted in Pretoria's zoo, the biggest zoo in Africa.
There I will demostrate and improve me skills as a veterinarian surgeon, specially treat with big animals, like lions, tigers, and learn about elephants that I'm so passionate about.
Work with wildlife takes you to meet beautiful places, every animal teaches you different things, that's why I would like to have a Tv show or some massive way of communication to show it as it is, also bring to all the world a lot of situations which are so hard to see by the average of people, and this way educate to children and adults.
Obviously transfer this acquired knowledge to books and papers to promote the knowledge and the investigation worldwide.
I like the idea of being my own boss, I really would like to have a zoo here in Chili, with the last technology, and this way be able to recreate exactly the behavior of all animals as in their natural habitat.
Working in a Zoo is a hard work, requires much dedication to animals.
An interest in conservation helps in the understanding of how important it is to protect all wildlife and their natural habitats because extinction means forever. This work is extremely rewarding.

My favorite subject in the university I would say that it is orientation to veterinary medicine.
In this subject professional veterinary doctors, that are obviously already graduated, that are working at different areas of the veterinary medicine, come and they do to us a kind of presentation where they expose how has been their professional life, which is the role of the veterinary doctor in the area in which he specializes, etc.
I guess that it is my favorite subject because the fact that professional veterinarians come to talk to us about their work and how are they doing since they went out of the university, I believe that it is way too motivating, and allowed us, the students, to have a very good idea of how it would be to work at this specific area of the veterinary medicine, moreover it is very useful as a vocational guidance for for those, and I include myself, who still don't have defined in what we would like to specialize.

He isn't actually a real vet, but he has been working for the conservation of endangered species and ecosystems around the world since he was a teenager. he is Jeff Corwin, maybe you know him from "The Jeff Corwin Experience " an animalplanet show that is mostly about him traveling the world in search of tropical animals. he was born in 1967. In 1984 he travelled for the first time to the jungle in Belize, where he contributed to the formation of the "Emerald Foundation". With only 25 yeras old he intervened in the General Assembly of the United Nations to insist on the need to preserve the tropical jungles, in 1994 he made his first documentary for national geographic and he hasn't stop since then.
I admire him because I would love to do that in the future, traveling around the world searching for exotic animals.

I've always loved animals but I didin't knew that I wanna to be a veterinarian 'til last year. I realized that become a veterinary doctor was my true vocation because I found that animals in general are the most beautiful creatures and they can give love without asking anything in exchange, besides i've always found zoos very entertained and interesting.
I would love to work in a zoo one day, or go to Africa and work with elephants or in a safari, but it's super difficult, so that means that I have a really long and hard way ahead of me.
